$5 Family Matinee | Rookie of the Year (1993)

Our $5 Family Matinee Series continues in August with the rarely screened baseball classic ROOKIE OF THE YEAR! Tickets are only $5 each and admission is free for you and your kids when you are a member of the nonprofit County Theater. Tickets are available now at countytheater.org/family

About the movie: Henry is just an average baseball loving kid, but when a freak accident leaves him with a superhuman pitching arm, he takes his love of the game to new heights and is recruited as an official team member of the Chicago Cubs. This endearing sports-comedy is a perfect summer watch for the whole family.
